Visit the forest on a cool and windy day in October

For those of you who would like to visit the forest on a cool and windy day, this afternoon’s regular Sunday walk at 2 pm will go ahead. The circular walk covers a little over one mile of uneven terrain and takes about 1.5 hrs. We will walk up to the 207-ft peak at Sanctuary Rock, down the Lady’s Slipper path back to the main trail, out to Farm St to see the path of the proposed roadway, stopping to photograph mushrooms and wildflowers for identification and documentation with iNaturalist and identifying birds by ear with Merlin Bird ID.
